“I was enjoying a strenuous yet beautiful sunrise hike along the beaches of Parque Nacional Corcovado in Costa Rica, with the Pacific Ocean just a few meters away. A group of scarlet macaws was feeding as the sun rose, which incredibly is quite common. This macaw flew and landed absolutely perfectly into the warm light. Its already colorful plumage caught and enhanced the sun in a manner that will never be repeated again and that I will certainly never forget.”
