THE STORY
People oftentimes speak of the “old Florida” or the “real Florida.” These discussions are saturated with nostalgia and longings for the good old days.
Florida is so much more than high-rise condominiums, theme parks, and endless rows of concrete and perfectly manicured palm trees.
This old Florida that people speak of is an untarnished landscape that is beautifully raw and imperfect. From the murky blackwater swamps down south to the few remaining oat and grass-covered sand dunes in the panhandle, these places are sacred and should be protected at all costs.
On this morning, Zach was enjoying just such a place, observing one of his favorite osprey nests, when this great blue heron flew by against an impossibly orange sky.
“It makes me think of old Florida, or what I refer to as “natural Florida.”

We require 1-3 business days to prepare all pieces for either in-gallery pickup, local delivery, or shipping. Should you select Gallery Pickup at checkout, please await further instruction until scheduling your visit.
Non-local orders will be boxed or crated, and will be delivered by either UPS Ground or a freight provider, depending upon the piece(s) ordered. This will be communicated to you upon order confirmation.

A limited number of Artist Proofs—no more than two—may be offered periodically.
Once this Limited Edition is fully collected, this capture will never be offered to the public again.
Uniquely Yours
Your piece will feature its individual numbering and artist's original signature on the rear. Upon your request, Zach can sign and number the front as well.
Also included are two Certificates of Authenticity: one adhered to the rear of the piece, and the other as a collectible parchment to be stored in your archives.

Your piece will also resist fading for a minimum of 75 years, so your piece can truly become an heirloom for generations to come.
The Frame
All frames are made of sustainably sourced solid wood. When offered, mats are made of pure cotton, and glass is always anti-reflective and anti-UV mineral glass.
