"On this autumn morning in Jackson Hole, the majesty and grandeur of the Tetons were completely shrouded by these low clouds.
“Initially, I was feeling frustrated, as thick clouds were not only blocking what are in my opinion the most beautiful mountains on the planet, but also the rising sun. However, I’ve learned over the years to never stop exploring, regardless of whether or not the conditions match my hopes or expectations.
“I glassed a sage-covered flat where I’ve seen moose in the past, and I was fortunate enough to spot this bull in pursuit of a female. I carefully hiked out to a safe distance, and he rewarded me with this pose in front of the shrouded Tetons. The cool atmosphere created quite an unusual setting and palette, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.”
