THE STORY
No visit to the beaches of the Gulf Coast is complete without observing ghost crabs darting between the surf and their seemingly endless tunnels.
“This morning, there were no clouds to the east, resulting in a very bright sunrise. I decided to embrace this strong light and compose this almost minimalistic composition in which the crab is the only color in the entire capture. This is quite rare and difficult to achieve in nature photography, but I’m very pleased with the result.”

Upon placing your order, you will be contacted to discuss your presentation preferences. Depending upon your selection, your bespoke piece will be printed and framed in either France or Germany.

PRODUCTION / SHIPPING / PICKUP
Pieces not in stock require up to 4-6 weeks for production. Please remember that each piece we sell is truly fine art in every sense of the word, and each step is performed by hand by the world's finest artisans.
For in-stock pieces, please allow us up to 3 business days to prepare your order for either in-gallery pickup, local delivery, or shipping. Should you select Gallery Pickup at checkout, please await further instruction until scheduling your visit.
Orders to be shipped will be boxed or crated, and will be delivered by either UPS Ground or a freight provider, depending upon the piece(s) ordered. This will be communicated to you upon order confirmation.

Exclusivity
Just like the natural moment shared within the capture, each Limited Edition is once-in-a-lifetime. As a Collector of this capture, you'll be one of a select few individuals to enjoy its beauty.
This capture has a very small edition size of only 10, spanning all available dimensions and presentation options. The sale of any piece, regardless of the size, counts towards this edition size.
A limited number of Artist Proofs—no more than two—may be offered periodically. Our Artist Proofs are actual proofs used by Zach, and are not produced merely to artificially inflate the edition size.
Once this Limited Edition is fully collected and closed, this capture will never be offered to the public again.
Uniquely Yours
You're able to personally request the presentation details for your piece. Mat size, frame color, glass or no glass... The possibilities are endless. We'll help you select the perfect presentation for your space.
You'll receive two Certificates of Authenticity: one adhered to the rear of the piece, and the other as a collectible parchment to be stored in your archives. Both are numbered and hand-signed by Zach Jones.

Presentation Possibilities
Feather or Floating Frame
Both of these frames are made of solid wood, and are offered in multiple finishes and colors. From the front, they have a thin profile.
Feather frames have no buffer between the print and the frame, whereas floating frames have a small gap, creating a floating effect for the capture.
We can help you select the material that most appropriately complements this capture while ensuring a proper appearance in your space.
Crystal
Collectors with an affinity for a modern appearance should consider one of our crystal presentation offerings.
Your selected capture will be printed and mounted to a thin layer of aluminum for strength and rigidity, prior to being reverse-mounted to a solid block of either acrylic or glass. Pieces can be hung and displayed with just the crystal, or enhanced to include a wooden frame.
Acrylic is available in Brilliant (glossy) and Lustre (semi-matte); for Glass, we utilize a mineral glass with anti-reflective and anti-UV properties.
Passe-Partout
This traditional technique includes a pure cotton mat for allowing your selected capture to truly assume center stage.
Frames are made of solid wood, and we utilize a mineral glass with anti-reflective and anti-UV properties to ensure a beautiful appearance for many generations.
