“This pelican was certainly photogenic, and seemed to enjoy posing for me. As much as I love its muted tones against the soft blue hues of the ocean, what most captivated me was and still are the unique patterns of the pelican’s feathers. The alignment and angles of the feathers, along with the great details that I was able to capture, are always a source of amazement and admiration for me.”
