Tending

Great egrets, or simply egrets as they are commonly referred to in the United States, are always a fantastic subject to observe. Not many creatures on this planet have such pure white coloring.

This female egret was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her chicks at a rookery in South Florida, and was seemingly constantly tending to the nest by rearranging sticks and twigs.

Standing frames are solid wood frames that can be hung or stood upright on any flat surface. The color of the wood has been carefully selected by Zach to complement the capture. Frames are .1" wide, and ~1.3" deep (these measurements should be added to the displayed dimensions of the capture). A Certificate of Authenticity will be affixed to the rear of the piece.
