As much as we all love the vivid colors found throughout nature—such as the beautiful emerald waters found here along Florida’s panhandle—the dramatic allure of black and white photography has only strengthened with time. Nothing seems capable of replacing our emotional connection to this timeless artform. In fact, technological advancement seems to only enhance our desire for more timeless pursuits and nostalgic artwork.
Without the wonderful distraction of color, we are able to observe and appreciate the finer details that are otherwise overlooked. The act of viewing black and white photographs is sacrosanct; it is truly an experience in which we connect not only with the art, but the natural world on emotional and spiritual levels.
For only one night, the walls of Wild Feather Gallery will be transformed and adorned with monochrome captures by Master Nature Photographer Zach Jones. Many pieces have never been displayed or seen before, resulting in exclusive opportunities not only to enjoy them during this gallery exhibition, but to bring this beauty of Creation into your home. From the savannas of Africa, to the beautiful beaches of 30A, all attendees are sure to benefit from experiencing a marvelously varied collection of timeless captures.
For those of you that just can’t forgive the absence of color in a location so beautifully vibrant, there will be a small number of colorful pieces displayed featuring 30A’s splendor. However, please know that the focus of the evening will be the eighteen Limited Edition monochrome pieces on display.
Refreshments and wine will be offered complimentarily. Attendees will be invited to submit their names to be eligible for various special gifts.
